The System IDENT Control is an innovative identification system because only one evaluation unit is required for a variety of frequencies. Inductive identification systems (System IV and System IP) operate according to the transformer principle in the near field. This system is particularly suitable for applications relating to automation, material flow control in manufacturing technology, plant data collection and the identification of objects such as storage containers, pallets, work-piece holders etc.
Microwave identification systems (System MV and System MT) operate according to the Hertz dipole principle in the far field. These systems are typically used for identifying larger objects, for example, in car manufacturing and logistics for vehicle barrier control or the bundled identification of several goods on a conveyor unit.
